To ensure maximum durability of ink, please keep them in their packaging until installation. The storage temperature should be between 15 to 35℃. If you need to temporarily remove a cartridge from the printer, remember to reinstall it as soon as possible. When the cartridges are out of the printer without protection, they begin to dry out.
The printers have a head parking system to maintain print quality and make printer working in an proper way, this system prevents the heads from drying out by moving them to an area called a service station (pump cap, cap top ...) where it rests on a kind of cushion that cleans them and prevents them from agents, dust, air ... Therefore, in order for it to work correctly always, turn off the printer using the power button and wait for the power light to turn off, then disconnecting the cord. This will allow the cartridges or heads to move to a protected position within the printer.

If you need to store cartridges outside the printer for a while, put them in an airtight container, with the chips protected from friction. A very typical mistake that users and many sellers make is to think that the same ink can be used for different printers of different brands. For example, a pigment ink may work well on DX4 print head and not work equally well on other DX6, DX7 printheads, even if they are from the same manufacturer.
