As a popular printing device, sublimation printers have attracted significant attention regarding their failure rates. Technicians from Hanrun Paper conducted surveys on several models of sublimation printers in the market. The results revealed that the failure rates mainly concentrate on the following aspects:
1. Printing quality issues: These include color deviation, blurred images, and unclear ink dots, usually caused by ink depletion or print head wear.
2. Paper jam issues: This refers to paper jams causing printing failures, primarily due to paper deformation or improper paper placement.
3. Connectivity issues: These encompass incorrect driver installation, damaged USB ports, and related problems.
To address the aforementioned common malfunctions, we propose the following solutions:
1. Printing quality issues: Promptly replace ink, check the condition of the print head wear, adjust printer parameters, etc.
2. Paper jam issues: Choose appropriate printing paper, correctly place printing paper, clean impurities inside the printer, etc.
3. Connectivity issues: Confirm correct driver installation, replace damaged USB ports, etc.
In addition to the above common malfunctions and their solutions, we also offer the following suggestions to enhance the stability of sublimation printers:
1. Keep the printer clean: Regularly clean impurities and ink inside the printer to avoid affecting print quality and machine operation.
2. Use high-quality consumables: Selecting high-quality sublimation paper and ink can effectively improve print quality and speed, prolonging the machine's lifespan.
3. Proper printer usage: Avoid frequent switching on and off of the printer, prevent overuse, and correctly store transfer paper and consumables.
